This special award originated in 1953 and has been presented to many home building legends in Southeastern Wisconsin. It is the highest honor the Association can bestow on one of its members. When nominating recipients for Builder of the Year, the selection committee must consider whether nominees hold themselves to the highest ethical standards. Nominees must be faithful not only to state laws and regulations but also to the MBA by-laws. They must be very active in civic life and their community. All nominees must demonstrate a dedication to service and be active participants in the Association.
